i think there were big class in like 86,87,88 so some guys might be hitting their 25 year mark....or they're just tired of compstat, blast stat, traffic stat, etc.

If i'm not mistaken, list is up to number 239. Also just a piece of info, I was at the pension seminar this past tuesday and one thing the speaker mentioned several times was about a big class eligible to retire April 30th. Hopefully that is beneficial for us in that the city has to fill those sgt spots!

I stand corrected, thanks Rich-pd. Any more rumors for the next class? Maybe March (crossing fingers). No sources here but I think the next class is going to be in June. I hope, hope, hope, hope that I am wrong because I'm in the 500's so the sooner they put the next class, the closer I get to being promoted.

Anyone really believe that the city will take away our vsf? I can only imagine what all the retired guys must be thinking right now...boooburg must have lost his mind! Does he understand that this affects ALL ranks?? Can you imagine capts and inspectors being told they are gonna loose money and then telling cops to get back to work?? hahahha...city has truly lost it's marbles..gotta love all the newspapers breaking our balls as well...such nonsense..I chose this job knowing that I would never be rich..taking money on the back end..others wanted money up front so they picked the private sector..now they want us to be the same as them? Thoughts?

In bmoc now.. trust me on this.. the instructors have no clue as to whether or not a class goes in.. someone with a good source is much more reliable than ANY bmoc instructor could ever be... BUT.. if they do say anything, and trust me we do ask, it will def be posted asap..
