You heard this from Little Bobbito aka your alter ego? Come on guy, if you really had info you wouldn't be asking so many questions on your previous posts!!!

The only concrete info ever posted was from CAT. Otherwise, its all BS.

When was the last time they cut a sgts list? This list is not huge, maybe 100 more than the 08 and that list was completed within two years. A promotional list remains active for 4 years. Im sure everyone will get promoted. So stop being Debbie downer!

One of the guys who was posting on this site up until recently actually just introduced me to Little Bobbito. So if you want to ignore me or pretend like everything will be great and fine, then thats up to you. From now on everyone just post up best wishes and only good news and good rumors.

Logically, this list currently has about 500 names on it. with 70 already gone and another 70-75 going in in 2 weeks we are already up to list # 135ish. Add another 15-20 that are already Sgts from previous lists, 10-15 fired, quit or simply ineligible because they didnt have 3 years or are sgts that took it just to take it.

Now we have a list of about 500 sgts for a department that has housing, transit, patrol, and over 100 details that have a decent attrition rate through retirement, promotions...

No way they would cut this list short. If anything they will give another exam and hold that one till 2012 to secure management until 2014.

So I call B.S on any rumors about cutting this list. Its not as big as it seems

Oh yea, don't forget this list is pretty fresh off the press with only 7 months in circulation. no way they go over 3 years without promoting 500 sgt>>>or even a year from today without promoting at least 250.

DCAS would not put someone on the list who was ineligible to take the test regardless of score.. i.e. already promoted or less than 3 years.

I'm not sure about less then 3 years but, they definitely did put people on this list that were promoted already from the '08 list.

zoo- I personally don't believe that you are a sh!t stirrer and are honestly relaying what you hear to everyone here. If there are people that only want to hear about rainbows and unicorns, then there is nothing you can do about it. There are people that appreciate the efforts of those that are reporting what they hear from credible sources. Thank you for your efforts.

Sorry to let you down, but this is beyond "rainbows and unicorns". I love to hear rumors as much as the next guy but with one stipulation.. PROBABLILITY. If zoo had said they'll b promoting a class every month until 2012 i would have cried bull$hit on that too.. why?.. because anyone who thinks logically would say hmm, something doesnt sound quite right about that. You mean to tell me that for years people have been posting rumors on this site and not one person has had accurate information beyond a 3 month span...BUT this Bobbito jerk comes along and all of a sudden knows whats happening 13 months down the line?? Things like: Promoting a Dec class only for a chiefs relative. Only promoting one more class in 2012 and the class will go in the summer. You call that $hit credible?? Really?! Take a look in the mirror because its not us who live in fantasy land.

CCRBSUCKS- I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest with anyone here. I am here to find out anything that is going on as far as our list goes. You know as well as I do that there are clowns that have posted in the past here that are nothing but trolls that are having fun at our expense by riling up people here. I wouldn't know zoo-master if I were to trip over him/her at a detail but I personally don't think that Zoo is one of those people. If anyone has a rumor and is posting it in good faith, good or bad, that's fine. If someone wants to say that they believe or know that a particular rumor is BS, I don't have a problem with that rumor being called out. What I don't like is when people are actually attacking the poster because they are coming out with news they don't like. Zoo is being attacked personally and that's not right. I think anyone posting in good faith shouldn't be attacked. Now as for any trolls, that's a different story.

Now I have never said what Zoo said or what Bobbito said is credible. But I am not going to attack him however because he is just the messenger who I think is just relaying the message in good faith. My bosses tell me that they don't believe that is true because they run through sgts pretty quickly. But we live in strange times. I don't know your list number but good luck to you when you get made and when you get to your command.

Just got notified to go to emd on the 29th. Im mid 100's on 2009 list. Prob to discuss my sick record. Take it for whatever you want. Prob gonna be large class in dec. Or a Jan. Class.

Hey Blue, sorry if i came off as being nasty. Your 100% right by saying people shouldnt attack the messenger if someone is posting something in good faith. I myself have heard a few rumors over the time but neglected to post them because i didnt feel they were concrete enough to post... but thats just me. If i did post something i would expect criticism from both ends openly, obviously no one is perfect. Personally i feel a few things were said that were a bit far fetched but thats all.

Thanks btw... i wish you much luck in your future also. Hopefully we can debate similar topics on the LT's promotional forum in a year or two

some1 posted in a diff thread that there might be 75 goin in Dec class and it might also be Dec 6, which will pass over 5 yr guys which will bring the list to 150's. but i hope there is also Jan class. if there will be a Dec 13 bmoc u probably wont make it but the good thing is that they already are looking for the next 60 or so.
On the other hand- whoever went thru bmoc alrdy or knows about field trainin, can any1 post where it is conducted? is it after 4 weeks of academy? is it at your new cmd or the whole bmoc? any info would be appreciated
