Best OT commands for a new Sgt...

Currently on the 2009 list... Would like to know which pcts have the best OT for a new sgt... Whether it be spike ot, 2 hours for 49's, crvs, or rdo details... I don't give a **** whether its busy or slow... Just want to make money...

the kind of command you need a hook to get into. unless you get into a detail right away, patrol doesnt get ****. you should probably wait until your list gets activated and youre actually going to get promoted before you even bother thinking about that.

Transit in Manhattan is probably the best. Midtown North and South is probably a close second. The money always finds its way to Manhattan. Don't get the impression that busy houses all get impact/spike OT. In my opinion you can not got wrong with anything transit nad Manhattan.

you are so right about that. i know a guy in district two, getting overtime hand over fist, he doesnt even want half of it. if only i knew then what i know now i wouldve chosen transit in a heartbeat

Patrol really isnt getting anything like the other guys said neither is housing. Transits OT is still good. But if you want 50 hrs a month as a Sgt no questions asked, go to Narcotics. I could do 50 hrs in 2 weeks if i wanted to. Its not that bad here and this is coming from a guy who was drafted kicking and screaming off the current LT exam lol A top pay SGT will make between 140k-150k if you cap out every month. Good luck

If you're a single Guy or gal narco is good, not so much if you have a family
