Just heard from a very good source in the Chief of Patrols office that only 266 passed the last exam, and there will be an exam sometime in the 1st quarter or 2010.

Mark, my words and remember who was the 1st to post this info.......

I think there were 266 in my command alone that passed. That's only a slight exaggeration.

8 passed in my command. I seriously doubt only another 258 passed in every other pct and detail in the city.

that number sounds really low... but the 07 test had a low number. only time will tell!

the 07 test had so few passers because it was rediculously difficult.........this exam however was very straight forward and like some have said, some commands have 8 or so who passed, its likely that trend follows suit across the city making 266 passing a rediculous #

3000+ took the 2007 and the list was in the 340s.
6200+ took the 2008 and the list was 671.

If you find out how many took it then its usually 10% roughly passing.

2009 - 6633 filed ................ 4873 actually sat for the exam

It is true. I spoke to that same source and but they told me that 266 passed in Brooklyn North alone, not to mention the other boro's confuse

If thats true then there should be more then 700 on the 2009 list considering i thought this exam was a little more of a ground ball then the 2008 exam.

 Now it's getting silly.  How would they know how many in a Patrol Borough passed?  Let just wait til the list actually comes out, and stop throwing these numbers out there.

Before and just after the exam was given this site was informative. NOW, its 100% USELESS. There hasnt been one useful or meaningful thing posted on here in months. Why do I keep looking at it then, you ask? Because even a broken clock is right twice a day.

My friend's brother has a friend who works with a guy who's sister once dated this dude that was in the military. That guy met a guy while stationed in Japan who's first cousin's step-sister was married to a guy who used to work with a guy who's father knew a guy that was once a cop in Yugoslavia. I think it was in the 60's he was a cop there...Auxiliary I believe.  Well THAT guy said that 452 people passed this last Sgt's exam.

Did the dude who met a guy in japan, cheat on his girlfriend??? or did the guy in japan who knows the yougoslavia cop, know of any single hot yugoslavia chicks, who want to date a future sgt, who knows nothing about his list number....yet.....but knows that auxillary has rmps that looks like mine...does anyone know if auxillary has the charger yet????

with the amount of people who passed from my command compared to past exams i would say 800 is a good ball park. march 2010 is my guess for the list to be established

almost 6000 cops took 08 test and only 671 passed with throwouts (initially 580)
less people took 09 test and here is the latest crap-810,820
are you guys listening to yourselves?! what kind of freaking bosses will you become?

2008 - 6525 filed ...............  4877 actually sat for the exam             
2009 - 6633 filed ................ 4873 actually sat for the exam

2008 = 671 passed

I thought the 2009 exam was a bit more straight forward so it could possibly be 800. Either way its going to be at least 600.

both tests were straightforward...
the only hard test was 07, and thats only because those morloks at dcas f**** the question stems...otherwise scenarios were pretty much the same
