there are 51 people who hit five years july 1 from list number 1 to 310, 311 was skipped and not entirely sure of their time, 312, 313 and 314 were promoted. 51 guaranteed, possibly 52, but i think only 51 hit 5 years july 1

There are 15 people from list #1-314 that were passed over for whatever reason (modified, suspended, credits, etc) that had over 5 years.

There are 52 people who will hit their 5 year mark on 7/1/09 and 2 people will hit their 5 year mark on 7/9/09.

That makes it a total of 54 people who were passed over because of time.

So far 69 people from list #1-314 is waiting to be promoted.

btw there are 24 people who were passed over because they reach their 5th year on 1/10/10 from list #1-314.

And 1 person resigned, list #253.

Sorry to belabor this but 3AZNCOPS said "So far 69 people from list #1-314 is waiting to be promoted" (54 from July/09 plus 15 "who were passed over for whatever reason"=69 + 24 from the class eligible January 2010) =93. So right now there are a total of 93 cops who have been skipped from list #1-314(for whatever reason)? Is this right?

Thats correct. There are 93 people who were passed over from List #1-314.
I left the 24 from 01/10/10 out because they have to wait at least another 6 months. Those numbers are correct.

I try to keep track of the amount of people being promoted from 2008 list. So far, up to list #317, I have 218 promoted and 96 skipped for whatever reason. Now, I don't know how many hit 5 years when, but I know that majority of skipped people hit 5 years this July. So, that means that there are at least 50 (maybe more) people who would be eligible for next BMOC.

I believe that they cleared for the college credit only. this way when the next classes to go they have all who is ready with the proper amount of credits.

Let's not all get too excited about June 29. I don't know if my source is as good as Cat and Legend but I hear that they are still up in the air with promoting sets but are definitely doing lts.

Thank god i took the Sgt test instead of the set test. They haven't promoted sets in a while but I think they promoted Sgt's in April

Last I was told 55 sgt's will be promoted, number could change not date.

cat... we are looking at least 60-70 going in the reasons

1. july have historically seen huge classes

2. federal stimulus money specifically for the hiring of law enforcements

3. we are low in SGT hence the 1/8 formula regarding corruption.

4. last this is the word from Msrt------------ and they have never been wrong.

People trust me, the amount 60 to 75 Finest out on the 24, class going in on the 29. I can assure you of that. My sources are correct......Sorry the finest would be out on June 24..

And guess what Cat, with respect to you and your ppl, My sources come directly from personnel, and they said is going to be class of 66 ppl. But sincce this department is so Undetermined, that's why I say is going to be a class of 60 to 75.

The list isn't going to move past 314. They have to go back and promote the cops that were skipped. Atleast they're putting a class in though smile

Maybe the list has been cleared up to 359, meaning those people are ready to go in if necessary, but there's no way that they're going to put in everyone up to 359.

It doesn't look too good for the five year wonders with the list being cleared to that #. Are they promoting additional people or are they skipping 5 year wonders?
