Theres a bmoc class that started this past monday. Maybe they know something?

Phil is 100% correct. The hold on promotions does not apply to us. And yes HATERS in my Command were talking a bunch of you know what when the media announced the promotions were on hold.

Protest guy... are you saying that next class will be called in BMOC sometime in next 2 to 3 weeks or so and graduating at the end of May?

Promotions are set for this Friday, April 24.

I was just told no bmoc class as of yet for may; they stated they have not received notification for a may class.  I was also told they will know by this week

like i said my source is in the P.A. and he said they have been told a class is going in, in may and its around 60!

I never said no class wans't going in as of the date I last posted bmoc said no class that day.  My source called direct and they told them they was not notified as of yet, because they would have notified my source when to come in and teach the next class.  I was at 1pp yesterday and my source was told that a class should be going in for may, but they are working on exact numbers. I like to put out correct information that is all with exact numbers, so people won't be disappointed thinking they are going in. I don't want to disappoint ppl , because we already get disappointed by the job enough!       P.S. uniformed promotions is one of the first units to know when a class goes in.

Cat if I said,that is exactly what you said then I apologize. Because I do hope you are right and I am wrong. Since that would push all of us closer to getting made, myself included. Info that I hear from this person or that person, I do not even bother posting, that rumor garbage. I do not post that often  here anyway. I spoke directly with Uniformed  Promotions and they said nothing as of Mon, can that change, yes of course it can. How many times have you and everyone else  seen something change in a matter of minutes, on this job.I am posting what I know in hopes it will help another cop. No one is trying to steal your thunder, so please do not get into a huff. We are all in this together. I will try my best out to help any cop, because I agree we are disappointed much to much with this job. Good luck to all.

Hey Natou, out of the whole list there are 132 people that hit their fith year on 7/1/09. Not sure how many have been skipped. Good Luck

What number would 60 bring us up to? Estimated?

If theres 60 next month, i hope, then this list is about on pace to finished end of the year. We can all hope. =)

Guys I hate to be the giver of bad news, but I also heard from my friends at the Academy, the same. Today they were told by EMD, no class for May. But please keep in mind, this could be for the early part of May, not the entire month. Since BMOC needs a 2 week notice to start up a class. They could have a class in the mid part of May, I say COULD, it is possible. Because of the recession, this is the reason I was told. Again ladies and gentleman, I am sorry. I am counting my days to no more collars. We are all in the same boat. Good luck to all. When I get more concrete info I will post. Stay safe and always watch the hands.
