Enough with entertaining the question "Anyone regret getting promoted" If it is that bad being of rank then turn in the Sergean'ts shield and chevrons and go back to being a silver shield.
Those in the rank of Sergeant talking that nonsense ranting about their hardships and work load don't seem to be taking a stand for voluntary demotion. So there is your answer, CLOSE THE TOPIC.

Yes I pray to GOD everyday that Bloomturd and ray ray go away..That this once great Police Dept be allowed to do Police work.To stop kissing ass to crybabies and whiny fVCKS LIKE HOLLAR AND OLIERY.I pray that the job stop hiring perps as part of a social experiment that has failed.So yes I do look to GOD for some help...

I agree with you 100% "NOTAGAIN", let's get to a better and more entertaining topic. If you regret getting promoted is always an option to go back as a silver shield. Although, I don't think anyone should do that. Because you choose to take an exam and passed it that means you were ready for the challenge. Just never forget one thing nobody is super human if other people can do it so do you.

You are dead wrong; you definitely don't have time more than Cat and I together. Before you say something like that, conduct a little more background regarding the individuals you talk to. Me personally, I came on this job back in 98, started in the 75 and did 5 years strictly patrolling the street of Brooklyn north. And guess what, God always helps me go through my career with happiness, and thankful that I can always go back home and be with my kids which is the best joy of my life. Stoptheinsanity nothing against you and your "thick skin" but I rather have the type of skink I have, no disrespect to you. And I will be a shame to say that I am eligible to retire and Im still here. Some times although the time you have is lengthy, you have to rely on those that arent tenure enough to survive. And most of all, don't forget that those who posses the greatest knowledge doesn't come from time, it comes from those that attain the greatest knowledge; and that knowledge comes from the greatest tribute which lots of people lacks and that is commonsense.

This is an issue that has a little bit of truth on both sides and not expressed in the most proper way. But obviously you guys have had personal experiences that make you feel this way. But we do have to leave these feelings on the side. Mostly because members of the public do have access to this site. Lets save it for the club meetings.
And CAT "on this job before the merge". Shouldnt you be standing in the NYPD Museum. Just kidding. Love you info. Even though you probably dont like my comment
