well we just got the 4% raise. First year Sgt makes now $2941 every 2 weeks for base pay.

5 year longevity is $162

i get full night diff. $290 every 2 weeks

Thanks NYCop! One more question, Does the SBA get the same new longevity pay scale as the PBA?

i think the longevity scale is slightly more for a sgt, but i could be wrong, i am not positive on this issue, i will find out tomorrow at work for you.

nycop80 In the pay-scale comparison between Cops and SGT. the one negative that you guys are forgetting is that once a year SGT. have to go to the range on their on time, so minus that day's pay from the SGT column.

If we are doing these comparison to see how much we are going to be making then good, but To all you cry babies complaining about stuff you yet to posses- this is what you do

IAMLEGEND..hell yeah, i agree with you 1000%, if guys are worried about a 2% or whatever difference in pay, or days off , or whatever they have to question, then dont take the promotion, and sit on doas, the REST of your career....take the good with the bad...everyone took the test n studied hard , for a reason...whether to be the next chief or just to get out of a command....take the promtion, n whatever **** comes with it, or tell em you dont want it, and tell them the RINGER and IAMLEGEND can go ahead of you...

I can give a crap less what the pay difference is. Just get me the fukc out of my command. I think id rather sit on hospitalized prisoners each night then have to walk in my pct every tour and make eye contact with the phony ass kissers that work there. Just my 2cents. "Yeah no prob lue, yes sarge whatever you say, I'll collar that guy for that joint that is in his pocket that was clearly visible in public, or all 4 of those guys for the one nickel bag". This job is quite the joke.
