hollar and others.....i thought for housing, he doesnt have to put it over...n he is supposed to do them , when the cop has time...the patrol cop i thought was the only one who had to put it over...i got that wrong...it was tricky i thought cuz it said a housing cop is talking to a housing sgt ...and it says, in regards to the above story and VERTICALS...which is most correct??? and isnt it different for housing than a patrol cop??? guss the memo bk was correct, but i thought could be a double, along with IF adjoining post not available then proceed. cuz isnt that the same as going by yourself??? but usually the right answer is staight out of the guide...
212-60 "During the course of conducting a directed vertical patrol, officers shall be instructed that absent exigent circumstances, two (2) or more officers must remain together."
Thats what the PG guide says for housing verticals. The answer on the test was word for word the same as the above except DCAS put (1) instead of (2), which makes the whole sentence gramatically incorrect. They said "absent exigency, (1) or more officers etc." DCAS made the answer out to say that 1 officer is the norm, get it?
Now open your patrol guide and read step 1 of 212-60, and theres your answer.
