the dept. has a way of giving out some of the hardest test when they need people the most...
remember guys take plenty of brakes, bring food, water, calculators, and pencils. most important be relax and let the info come to you... i took 4.5 hours with my test and went over the whole test 3 times... dont get faze by the clowns that are going to leave 1 hour into the test

now go and get that 90 even though you wont be promoted untill 2012 lol peace...

i dont know if you are trying to scare everyone into thinking the test will be hard or you are just that dumb.last test had a super easy inbasket and the rest of the test was straight forward. i walked out the school knowing i aced the test and i was right. for everyone taking the test i wouldnt worry so much about the test being hard...

The last test was a ground ball compared to the 2007 test.

Easy? Ground Ball? Lol those are the words of the ones that know the answers. NASA scientists found physics "easy". If the 2008 test was so easy then why did less than 10 percent pass? It is because the tests are the same and the people who take them either know or don't know the answers or how to take it. They are far from "straight forward". If you read a question and think you know the answer right away you are probably wrong. They want you to THINK because the last thing they need are more Sergeants that "jump to conclusions" and not think.

Good luck. Take a lot of breaks is right. When you brain starts to buzz go for a walk.

i love how everyone who took the 08 exam says it was straight forward and a "groundball". Like Napoleon said, if so then why did 640 something pass out of 4-5,000? From what I have heard the Key re-writes for the 06 and 07 exam were right on and I couldn't really tell a difference between those and the 08 exam. P.S. excessive force, did you really "ace" the exam?From what I remember only 2 people got higher than a 90 and I'm pretty sure your neither. So saying you aced it may be a little exagerated, I'm just sayin.smile

I passed the 08 test with very very very very little effort. I also FAILED the 06 and 07 test after making the same amount of effort. I guess the 08 test was either easier, or, I got REALLLY LUCKY. I guarantee you it was pure luck.

70 on the head and then picking up one on the throw outs, sounds like luck to me.
