I dont know guys, the finest that came down only had Lieutenants and Detectives and civilian promotions, no Sgts for BMOC, unless the finest is coming out today...

I saw the finest messages for yesterday and nothing in there mentioned BMOC for promotion to sergeant. I am told by bosses at my command that notifications for temp assign to BMOC comes as a telephone message, not a finest message.

the finest did come down yesterday with sgts for bmoc on there and the reason y there r only 34 sgt is because they over promoted last bmoc the budget is only set to promote 75 at a time the next class which is in jan will be a class of 75 if any one need the list pm me i will be at work in 45min

I took a look at the list and I came up with the last person at 230 range. many people were skipped over however...approx 20 from 179-230. 4 people were taken from list numbers past over initially.

I was told a class will go in december which is really for january. The ppl from old exam will be eligible then. They started calling from number 179 I know for a fact she was called. Also number 191 was notified yesterday.

THEY ARE UP TO LIST NUMBER 238-239 ON TO 2008 LIST , AS FOR THE OLD LIST CAN SOME ONE POST HOW MANY ARE GOING TO BUMP US IN THE DEC/JAN CLASS , AS FOR THE CURRENT LIST IT LOOKS LIKE 6 NAMES WILL BUMP US ,,,, WHEN U SAY A CLASS IN DECEMBER FOR JANUARY DOES THAT MEAN END OF DECEMBER ?

They can be in BMOC prior to Jan 20th but cant be promoted till after that date. And usually promotions is the last Friday of the month so most like they will be in BMOC early January 2009.

Its probably around 40 getting promoted cause six people did not get promoted the first BMOC due to the list mess up, so a total of 39-40 gettiing made after the Nov. Bmoc.

Any rumor of a December class? If so, about how many? A Lt. told me that they usually put in a big class for December promotions. Any info will be helpful.
