If any type of legal action is filed due to f up on list, no one is getting promoted off this list until it is cleared up. Possibility the whole current Bmoc is going back to commands.

What's not to understand. 671 is the final number it is just a matter of correcting the list numbers based on seniorority, medals, etc. if your name is not one of the 671 on the list, then get ready to pay the fee again to take the 09 exam. People keep asking same redundant questions. Irishprincess has explained quite eloquently.

if your name is not on the list, then you did not get a 70, and therefore are not entitled to seniority points, medals and fitness.

Filing for the '09 test closes on 9/23, you can have my spot.

Guys,.....NO LAWSUITS nor NEW NAMES,.....JUST NEW LIST#s based on seniority!!!!!!,......So IF you're a 3 to 4 year cop that scored higher than a guy with 5 and beyond,...then they'll have a HIGHER LIST # than you once the SAME LIST is RE-CALCULATED with the SENIORITY POINTS ADDED!!!!!!!,...We ALL know that the Dept. has dropped the ball in the past and will do it again and again and again,...........SO like Phil Atio stated above,....IF you're NOT on this list chances are you're going to have to take the next exam,....no HARD feelings!!!!! CONGRATS to all!!!!!!

i personally think senority points is a crock of sh*t! i respect time and all dont get me wrong.but its not fair that i got an 82 and someone with 15 years on scores a 75 and they can surpass me and bump me outta bmoc! we all took the same test here.the job shouldnt reward a cop with an insane amount of senority points just b/c a veteran decided after all these yrs "hey i think im going to take the test now".everyone should get some type of senority points but for someone to pick up 7 or 8 points just on senority alone is bullsh*t!now again i respect time and thats y vets get the good vaca picks,drive the boss and dont get the sh*t assignments.but do i REALLY gotta take it up the ass by veterans when it comes to promotional exams too? i know alot of u guys r going to kill me on this thread but its just my opinion.

I totally agree J. I don't see what is wrong with giving a test, grading it and then making a list. What the scores were today is the way the list should be made up. Why should a 6 year guy get more points than a 4 year, etc, etc. There is absolutely no difference in cops with 6 years on than cops with 9 years on. And the medals is another joke. A guy goes to task force or traffic safety and makes 80 511 collars and he gets awarded points? Retarded! Veterans credits also. Dont get me wrong, I have the utmost respect and appreciation for the guys who served but 5 points, c'mon now. Not so much on this test, but guys can bank them and use it on the Lt test, that could mean a jump of 3 to 400 people. Thank God they finally came to their senses with that other horsesh*t idea, residency points, another joke. Maybe one day the job will correct this other nonsense as well and the promotional exam will be just that, an exam.

so guys, what your saying is a cop who has worked for, say 15 years, in an extremly busy house, say south bronx or brooklyn, has say over a hundred legit gun collars, three shootings, with two kills, all cleared and found within dept rules and regs, well over 600 hundered major seven collars, decides to take a test. now after this test, he and say a two year wounder working, say midtown manhattan, with 10 petit larceny collars, each score a 80%. this veteran officer isn't entitled to some extra points, even for his combat crosses. come on guy's, this is the type of boss you want to show up when the sh... hits the fan...
