Everyone needs to STFU. CAT is the forum guru board master. Her info has been true, time after time. She doesn't have to tell us a damn thing, yet she is a respectable person and tries to do the right thing by all of us by passing whatever info is given to her. YOu need to stop doubting her, and stop asking how does she know, blah blah blah. Who cares how she knows, maybe her source is a 4 star chief, does it matter ? The point is that her info is as accurate as it can be at the time. Maybe, there will be some change but that is not her fault. She passes along what she knows at the time. I do not know CAT in real life yet, i hope to one day maybe take her out for a beer or something because she damn well deserves it. No, alcohol, that's fine, some lemonade then. That's all i have to say.

Since theres another exam in January 2009 then that means only one thing. That they need more SGTs!

Since they need more SGTs im going to guess they will hire every person who passed the 2008 exam.

Great news for all of us who passed the 2008 exam! :)

I 'd say it looks pretty good for people on 2008 exam list. I am on the 2007 exam list, and it is one of the smallest lists ever, 340 people.

To my fellow brother and sister officers posting on the forum, I have an accurate source regarding the number of people who passed the Jan o8 Sgt Exam. The number is 684. This is a crude list, it does not include throw outs or double answers, so the number who passed should go up for the final list.
No BS. Congats to all who passed.

I hope they start hiring after they finish the 2007 exam which should be in Sept.

Your saying the2007 list should end in sept any thoughts on people who make 5 years in january 09. I heard its only about 20.

6100 was the number who signed up for the 2008 Sgt exam.
