Don't really find this post amusing . All your doing is getting the hopes of the many cops who are financially behind the 8 ball and forced to work second jobs to feed their families up . Please save sh*t like this for the rant .
Top pay cop should be making 75 grand base at top pay. So if you do 4x12 or 12x8 with night diff, longevity, holiday, and uniform and possibly little ot you could easily make 85-90 grand a year. This city is a joke, they dont want to pay us what we are worth, and Bloomberg comes out and says if we break pattern bargaining that he would have to raise city property tax to pay for our raise, making the cops look like jerkoffs to the public. 3's or 4's wont do it for us. We need to be up to date and a base for top pay cop at 75,000. **** the city, they dont care about us and I dont care about it. I'll do what the city thinks Im worth, which apparently is nothing. Bare minimum all the way.

What is the new CONTACT? Did they take the "R" as a giveback? Are things so bad that our mayor who only needs $1 a year to do his "job" needs to remove the only thing we have left? Proper spelling? Will we be writing TAFFIC summons' soon? Will we have a new SEGEANT Rank? How about we all get a good AISE to feed our familes? Oh, that's right...boo hoo IGHT? We have no IGHT to complain that the cost of living has gone up 60% and our SALAYS only went up ZEO in the last FOU YEAS. the contract sucks. anything that involves give backs is not a raise in my opinion.. its more like taking money from one pocket and putting it in another.i waited four yrs for this?what a disgrace!
