I know for previous tests The Chief always reported the # of people passing, anyone know how long that usually takes to get revealed? I remember it was way before the list was established.

im hearing the number is around 500 as well.....but thats just the scores for now with out any double answers...

The Chief usually publishes that number of people who passed. I dont remember when though. It usually is a long time before the list is published.

BTW, OMAP already knows how many passed.

the chief publishes the actual list.....not the the people who passed...because we wont know who passed until the official answer key comes out.THIS IS NOT HAPPENING FOR A WHILE

I'm not disputing your claim cat, I hope its true, but correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think you or bkinsider have posted info before, the only i guy I can think of that posted info that was right on was eastharlem, but he's gone, so how accurate can you or the other guy if be you actually never posted legit info before. Again not arguing with you, your "source" being right would be ood for me.

hey cat, being that you might actually know something i have a question.. as of now i have a 78 but dont reach 5 years until july 09, am i guaranteed to get made, and if so when do you think.. just worried they might kill our list, but since you said only 550ish passed i feel alittle better.

to help you guys out this is how it workS IF YOU GET PASS OVER BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TIME YOU WILL GET MADE WHEN YOU HIT FIVE YEARS BUT IF THEY DONT GET TO YOUR LIST NUMBER AND THE NEW LIST COMES OUT YOU WILL DIE ON THE LIST (BUT THE DEPT CAN REQUEST THAT DCAS NOT TO KILL THE LIST TO MEET DEMANDS)

AND YES TWO LIST CAN BE OUT AT THE SAME TIME BUT ONLY ONE LIST CAN BE MADE PUBLIC NOT TWO (READ THE RULES ON DCAS WEBSITE)

SO IF 7508 COMES OUT PUBLICLY THE REMAINING PEOPLE FROM THE OLD LIST WILL BE PROMOTED IF YOU WERE PASS OVER WHEN THE TIME COMES SO IF YOUR WAITING FOR JAN 09 WHEN THE TIME COMES YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO GET A SEAT IN BMOC

ok so they can put out the 2nd list and hold off on promotions of people who do not have 5 yrs yet. Then they can begin promoting off of the new list, but when people reach their 5th year, they go back to the old list and fill up the class and then go back to the new list to sorta backfill???????

LOOKS LIKE THEY WENT THROUGH THE WHOLE LIST. (THE COPS WHO HAVE ENOUGH TIME) THE HIGHEST LIST NUMBER THEY CALLED WAS 329. THERE ARE 157 COPS REMAINING ON THE CURRENT LIST TO BE PROMOTED. DONT KNOW WHO IS JAMMED UP, DO NOT HAVE THE CREDITS, ALREADY PROMOTED, LEFT THE JOB OR WHATEVER....BUT THERE ARE 157 REMAINING ON THE LIST.

THE 157 PEOPLE LEFT IS BASED ON THE 339 COPS ON THE CURRENT LIST.
THEY PROMOTED 182 SGT'S ALREADY (INCLUDING THE MAY 5 CLASS).
339-182= 157 REMAINING.
