School Rant

Now the Sgt exam is suppose to be in April and some of us have literally been studying since March when both schools announced their courses. So were going to go just over a year of studying and thats if the exam is in April. Can you imagine if it was in July/August ? The people that get screwed over are those who have been actively studying and taking time away from family, events, etc. And whys DCAS pushing this exam until a month before the current list expires ? The last list took 9 months to create, are they going to go almost a year without promoting sgts ?

Ill give you some perspective, first time I took the sgts exam I was averaging mid 90s on mikes tests, on the actual exam, I got an 84 without the throw outs, curve or extra points. Winded up in the high 90s with everything and was in the first 3 classes. If youre averaging 70s on his exams, expect to get in the 60s or less. I thought the last exam was very fair and if you studied you shouldve did well.
