Hey all, what is the annuity for Captain. Right now as a 2 year Captain I see 30 a month from the city that goes into my principal account. I know for Lts its about 118 a month. From what I understand does it go up to 3,000 a year approx 250 a month at 5 year mark.
Also for any Lts or Captains out there. Switch to the fidelity 500, its a better performing fund than what the default SOC fund is.
To see your annuity principal account and register just download the principal app and enter your social security #.

Correct, if you get promoted before the 5 years you also get the 3k per year.
From what I can tell, I am only getting 30 a month deposited in the principal account. I believe itll increase to 250 per month which is the 3000 a year at the 5 year mark as a Captain.
Can anyone confirm this?
