I have a strong feeling this list will get exhausted quickly. There is so much turnover now with all these higher ups running out or being forced off. All of their LTs Capt and above friends will now leave rather than be sent to commands

Yes, but a request of 20 doesn't mean that the list moved forward by 20.

With the surge in retirements recently, I can see 20+ for the next few months but we shall see.

With the amount of overtime people will be losing. Some will come to the realization that the time to go is now to maximize their pension. They cant afford next years number to be lower. Most dont leave until January 31. February will have a bigger class. Have patience. Theyll hit another 300 this year for sure.

If theyre not putting in SGTs then theyre not going to put in more LTs. When they start the SGTs back up, so will the LTs. Theres nothing a LT can do that a SGT cant.

All Im saying is 10 doesnt sound unbelievable if they only cleared 20. SBA need to get their shit together. Now its affecting everyone. Pressure is really on them now. The ball has always been the citys court.

The retirements have been coming from all over, not just specialty units.
