There are 128 vacancies- confirmed today that OMB is 100% not going over the vacancy numbers. That means 75 in February, and possibly 50 in March.

75 in February will be confirmed next Wednesday as the Dept is awaiting an approval from OMB. As for the March Class, the max will be 50 as long as the number stays in the 120s.

After the department meets the vacancy numbers the list will grind to a halt. I predict we hit 275-300 by December. Hopefully theres an exodus after this level one stop nonsense.

They usually do about 4-5 LT classes per year so I would hope they do 2 more classes of 50-75 after March to end the year at around 300-350 so that would be about right.
I was told they wanted to get to around 400 by end of year so perhaps if they start promoting Captains again mixed with retirements for the year, they could reach that number if there is another Large Holiday Promotion in December

This is all correct. Once the approval from OMB comes down we have the exact number. Vacancies after March will largely be dependent on retirements and Captain promotions.

Historically LT promotions are 15-25 per Class. This is more or less aligned with Captain promotions and retirements. I can see 4 more promotions after March

I'm just saying, usually, the people that I know who have been passed over, had a clear issue/event/case/log or whatever that they knew was likely holding them up as it approached. I didn't take errors into consideration however.

What I said was when I was at the academy, I was told by a few people 3/1. I checked back again today and its tentative 2/3.
