I think the numbers will go back to 75 plus. We could all agree though that the 25 is better than a zero.

Fingers crossed 75+. My command is hurting for sgts and Lts. Hopefully they drop the LT list this November and start promoting off of it. That should help this list move along.

Some people are already posting its going to be 11/21. Last year it was the Tuesday prior to thanksgiving as well. Not confirmed though, who knows

Im hearing small 25 people class again. Guess this will keep happening until they settle/ratify the new SBA contract.

Has nothing to do with the contract, they been pumping classes for months this isn't something where they were suprised out of no where. My guess it's the constant every day mobilizations, it's a wonder they are even having classes and from what I hear they are in uniform of the day ready to go.

Also think it's a little early for numbers that just sounds like someone said something and passed it on. I heard 75 but I believe it was the same situation.

if they cared so much about the contract and what they make they wouldn't have pushed the classes to start with they can easily just not put anyone in until the contract is settled if they cared. This would put pressure on the current sgts making them work extra and needing it signed sooner than later.

Last class was small so naturally people will say this is the new pattern (and they may be right) just like everyone was saying 75 last month until it was confirmed it wasn't, there wasn't even rumors of 25 or small, it just happened the week before. I don't think any rumors now are reliable. Guess we will find out soon enough.

Im hearing similar.. November 21st promotion. 100 names cleared for Sgts but looking like only 25 will be going in. Also hearing 10 Captains for the 21st.

No one is trolling folks. It is early. Numbers can change. The Dept wants to promote more, but preliminarily 25 iis/was the number. It may be 40 now we wont know for sure until it gets closer to the date, and even up until that Finest drops. Everyone is sharing the intel they are getting. So lets remember that the only certain thing about this job is its uncertainty.
