anyone able to figure out what the breakdown is of the curve? I think its less than the .231 cause most of the people that calculated their scores with the .231 are about a point lower.

Congrats to everyone who made it. This was freakin brutal but a good way to start the new year. That being said, can we please start a NEW thread, I love the next class speculations, much better than the list releasing ones.

Something is definitely different. The numbers arent adding up. Could be curve or they screwed up seniority or medals.

Different curve man. There was never a guarantee the same curve as Captain and sgt

Take the day, whats the news on the list? Is DCAS off for next 2 weeks?

Last I heard was that list is with DCAS so its up to them to decide when its done. If I had to guess sometime January/February I have no idea whats taking them so long but it is what it is. If I hear anything else Ill post but at this point you would need to know someone in DCAS to actually get some solid info, as its out of the Jobs hands now anyone that tells you otherwise is making things up. Wish I had better news for everyone.

What were the factors you considered to reach this January/February prediction?

Just a guess at this point. I would Assume DCAS being such motivated city employees wont actually attempt to get this list out until after the holidays season is over so after New Years would make sense but who knows

 Well this aged well

The curve is 0.167. Therefore, you need a 64 to pass.

Too soon. Let people enjoy making this list for a week at least.

Negative. I know someone who got a 61. She is mid list

Is the 61 with throw outs and double answers? Because I originally had a 61 and picked up 3 throw outs/ double answers plus the curve gave me a score over 70.

Then that person had more than 61. I know someone that had a 63 and is not on the list.

This is correct I confirmed it with my score. You needed a 64 to be on the list

I know someone with a 59 who is now on the list. And yes, these are all failures. Should have been the original 250 on this last and not the Hail Mary passers. Open a book and read. Quite difficult these days for about 1,000 here

If you enjoy being insulted when asking a question, then Yano is best.

I call bull on that. In my command anyone under 64 raw score day of the test didnt make the list. Either this person got very lucky and picked up a bunch of points or you making stuff up. Either way Im logging off this board until 2027 when I can start studying again for this test. Hopefully whoever writes it then isnt an EDP and questions actual useful procedures and not nonsense they did this time around.

It was a mistake taking his class for me as his voice and overall delivery would irritate the hell out of me. Should have stuck with key and did patrol guide like last time.

Never too soon to talk the truth. This list with this curves is a fucking disgrace. Captains List, Lt List , ANY LIST with a curve... is a fucking disgrace

personal feelings aside, Yanos class speaks for itself. Look at this break down on Sgt promotions. 90% took his 20 week class. Personally I got mid 90s on Sgt and high 80s on this LT test.  I will recommend his course any day of the week.

Guys I spoke with my buddy the Janitor and he informed me that his name is on the list for whatever reason, it seems everyone is on that list.

I personally know somebody that scored in the 50s raw score and is on the list, so this is not entirely accurate.

Its pretty obvious:
If you were able to get to a 64 (with throw outs/double answers), youre on the list.
Someone in the high 50s is explainable. He received enough throw outs/double answers to get to a 64.

Thats it! Congratulations to all.

Correct. If anyone was able to obtain a 64 with (throw outs and double answers) you are on the list. The curve is 0.167 per wrong answer. If anyone does the math it will put you at 70. Then you would have to add seniority points, JST and/or medals and that would give you your final score.

So my raw score was 57 and supposedly I picked up 4 only. My buddy however had 66 and picked up 8 go figure that one out.
