RE: List coming out

If theres any conformity with the 2022 Captains Exam, that list dropped 18 weeks after exam day (which was the fastest any list was ever established), Id expect this Lt. List to drop no sooner than the week of July 31.

Obviously, it certainly can be way later, depending on PRS process, evaluations of eligibility, performance and seniority points.

I would assume some time around there as well but more likely August or Late September. I would think before they start Promoting LT they would want to start Promoting SGT first.

2022 Sgt Exam took about 9 months.

2022 Capt Exam took about 4 months.

Educated guess tells me we are some where in between those numbers. Maybe 6-7 months.

If they use the same curve strategy they used for the 2017 Sgt Test, 2022 Capt and 2022 Sgt test youll need a raw score of 61 including throw outs to pass.  For example if youre sitting with a 61 you have multiple .231 to the number of questions you got wrong, which would be 39 x .231 = 9.09 points. 61 + 9.09 = 70.09. Then you can add any military, medals, and run/jst points. We just need to wait to see how many throw outs there will be.  If someone is sitting at a 57 and lets just say there are 4 throw outs. That will give them a 61 and the curve will be applied.

Whats the census on number of solid throw outs for this test? Also if you got the throw out right, do u get the point or no?

If you got it right, you will not get another point. Does anyone have any news on the amount of potential throw outs?

Heard if you call the DCAS hotline it will tell you if youre on the list but thats about it, no score or list number obviously. I tried it but idk if it means Im on the LIST-LIST or as if it means Im on a list of exam takers. Idk

They did the same to the 2017 Sgt list. It expires Jan 2024

I dont understand? Promotional lists only last for 4 years by city law?? Wheres that tool that keeps quoting city laws like they mean something anymore?

It is pretty funny to think back of how many people adamantly said the lists cannot be extended past 4 years under any circumstance

Captains List = 490

Lieutenants List = 490 x 3 = 1470

Sergeants List = 1470 x 3 = 4410

That means this Lt list is smaller than the last one, when the last capt list was even smaller than the current one

The last lt list was 1325, what are you talking about? Even with a full one year extension and massive retirements, its still not done.

Called IAB for an unrelated issue and the Det there mentioned that "theyre really busy clearing people for a really big promotion" this month. For what its worth, I imagine that would include Lt's.

What lieutenants would you assume? The 2017 list was exhausted and there is currently no word on this lieutenants list coming out.
