They usually dont talk about next classes in bmoc, or at least the one i was in.

No names at IAB yet. Its usually two weeks or so prior so its still early if the class is scheduled for the 23rd.

If the Promo date is 12/23 like Ive been hearing I would think more likely Monday the way they have been doing the Promo Finests lately

One week notice made too much sense. If it makes sense, its not for this department. its ok, its not like I wanted to give out of town family time to make travel arrangements right before the busiest travel time of the year

Does anyone know if we get promoted after the filing period ends for the Lt exam, would we still be able to sign up for it ?

I could be wrong, but the way I read the notice of exam makes it seem that you can sign up now because the eligibility is to be a Sergeant on the first day the exam is given. It doesnt say anything about eligibility when filing, only talks about eligibility on the first day of the exam and eligibility to get promoted.

I had called DCAS before I was promoted they told me you can sign up even as a PO as long as you are a SGT around test day when they clear you. So if you sign up now it wont cancel out or anything it will go through without a problem.

My source is still saying 70-80 SGT and 30 LT They did want to promote the whole list but she said the number was reduced. Nothing is Confirmed as of yet the date is still 12/23 I think City Hall is holding it up but i would expect the finest Monday and not tomorrow as too many things are up in the air. If I get concrete numbers ill post

Last i heard was they trying to finish the list on 12/23. Not sure if this is outdated news now, could very well be. Regardless theyll finish everyone on this list 1 way or another.

I can tell you the list 100% is getting finished its just a matter of if they do it now or next month. The numbers have just been changing so erratically. I had heard at first small classes going forward that then changed to the whole list which then changed to 70-80. City Hall is clueless as usual the smart thing would be to finish the list this month and try and clear and promote as many holdovers as possible next month, But here we are Lol
