Anyone else feel like theyre speed reading material thats traditionally spread out over 6 months into 16 weeks? Or is it just me? Kinda makes it appear as mission impossible..

Were all in the same boat. This time around it feels rushed, its a though study timeline. On the brighter side itll be over sooner, at least thats what I keep telling myself..
Just an FYI we always had a 12 week course for a Captain Exam but for this upcoming exam we are conducting a 16 week course and then a few crams.

Are you guys offering crams to outside students like you did 5 years ago? Your cram was actually pretty good.
aside from the fact that i took a gamble and am needing 1 promotion class before the exam, which is looking increasingly unrealistic and having that cause me issues staying focused, this is the first test im taking with a child, studying and an 8 month old do not mix. but it does feel like a lot real quick, im just in awe of how much actually came back to me though
My motivation is to replace my own Captain. Hes one of those creeps that takes too long to get dressed in the locker room. The last thing I wanna be doing is be hiding behind a wall, peering around a corner and staring at this guys magnificent, hot ass for 20 minutes. I got better things to do with my time. Cracking the books for the exam being first priority. Right or wrong?
