Adams is sitting down with pba this week to negotiate terms for a contract, this is whats on the table:
8/1/17 - 7/31/18 = 3%
8/1/18 - 7/31/19 = 3.5%
8/1/19 - 7/31/20 = 4.25%
8/1/20 - 7/31/21 = 4.25%
8/1/20 - 7/31/22 = 5%
Top pay will be $102,350 after 8 years
Salary steps will be as follows:
Starting salary - $45,000
After 2 years - $48,000
After 3 years - $53,000
After 4 years - $57,000
After 5 years - $62,000
After 6 years - $68,000
After 7 years - $80, 000
After 8 years - $102,350
Longevity will stay the same
Uniform allowance will be bumped up to $1125 tax free
Body cam will be bumped up to 3%
Our top pay will allow the other unions to go back and renegotiate a better contract to keep the salaries competitive and above our top pay
Also in talks with the mayor and pc, plain clothes
enforcement units possibly coming back and assigned to the boros instead of individual commands
