 it is just a rumor lol there were no discretionary promotions for july 30th so rumors are going around. I have learned on this job anything is possible lol

 

@Truthseeker any intel about why there were no discretionary promotions and any future promotion rumors?

Yes. Heard they want to run 2 because budget cleared,  and they want to pump out the list.  Again just a rumor.

The numbers they got approved for were way bigger then they could fitv at any ceremony location. So they want to stagger them.

 Thats not true. They had a large promotion before. They just broke it up throughout the day.

maybe cause our Bmoc ends on august 27th. That's why is being pushed to the following week.

Those details as far as I am hearing are not actually scheduled as of now. (subject to change of course)

Additionally, there a recruit class graduating that week as well. Maybe that is why they pushed the class back.

Most recent numbers I heard were 18 captains, 55 lieutenants and 115 sergeants. Obviously not confirmed.
