Itll probably announced next year. It also depends on the vacancy #s so if anyone knows what the current numbers are from Capt-DC, feel free to post them.

Wow really!?!  You are a LT.  Do not make me expose you and state exactly where you work.  Tony Salami, you had it right sir - DR Papi is a fraud and god help us if he makes it to the rank of captain

Just wondering, with exam scheduled for August 2022, isn't it a bit late for THE KEY, RISING STAR, or ELITE to not have started their classes already......THE KEY has theirs for May 8th, super late.....only 3 months of studying?? Am I missing something? Have not heard from ELITE or RISINGSTAR.....

Too much overlap with the Sgts exam and the list is running out. I guess they have to make due with what time they have available. Im actually happy about it, lets get this over with!!!

The fact is, these schools make their money mostly from SGT exams, so that's their priority. Always has been and always will be. It's not too often there's so much overlap with exams. Not to mention The Key and Elite are in a constant "whose is bigger" contest, so they keep trying to one-up one another with early courses and announcements. They both jumped the gun with the SGT exam, everyone knows it, and then they tried to play it off. Both are good courses, but they're both businesses that have had no income in 4 years. Rising Star seems to just be doing questions this time around as they did for SGT, so it makes sense for those to come out a little later. Always good to have a fresh pool of Q's in your back pocket anyway for just before the exam. Especially since PG changes have been happening daily it seems. In my circle, there seems to be a lot of self-studiers this time around. That used to never be the case.

I believe the date on the Key flyer was prior to the email coming out. Now that the test is officially announced by the department for August 2022, the class should start next month giving those taking it their 6 months to prepare.

Actually, does anyone know if the last captain exam was initially scheduled for November? Or did it get pushed back from an earlier date?
