They are usually always 100 or more people ahead of schedule to cover beyond the next class. If you need to be CARB they notify you and its just a waiting game of when they can get three 2 Star chiefs together at once. They are often rescheduled because its hard to get three of them together at once. No ones going to tell you if your cleared. You will get a call for CARB if your not cleared

I don't need a carb, just hoping I don't have BS IAB or other issues over my head that I don't know about. Especially since a ccrb is a hold now.

If the Chief of Training talks about a July promotion then it will definitely happen. The last time that happened during the October 2020 when the Chief of Personnel talked about the 142 PO to Sgt promotion.

 There's definitely 6-8 guys on the passover list that just got promoted to detective earlier this month. All those guys will be in the class.

I asked yesterday and I was told July 9 is still the rumor w no confirmation. June 30 is on Wednesday. Youd have to have budget approval and pics done w notifications for such by Monday. Highly doubt it but as I said I can always be wrong

Anything is possible. As we can see last promotion the finest literally dropped at 2207! But I am assuming pics were already in play/scheduled for the following day.

However, I heard from someone in Bmoc LT Eng said July 9th so maybe that's the day promotions are sticking too.

I found out that the department already have approval for june 30th and that's why there was a discussion about going with the approval. We should see on Monday if this discussion will go anywhere. I believe june 30th promotion is still in the picture. The department dont have approval for July 9th yet.

July 9th is the slated promotion date, June 30th from what I get is sort of a deadline for lack of a better word to give the job enough time to get the promotion together, ie vetting everyone, discretionary promotions squared away and what not. Still no answer from city hall omb last I hearr

Ill tell you why June 30 aint happening. Thursday would require a bmoc class. In order to do a bmoc class, there is some level of preparation needed. Ie guest speakers need to be booked. Although this may sound easy, its more like a puzzle figuring what unit can do what specific day. With no confirmation by last week, this just simply will not happen. Last promotion that stuff was already confirmed we were just waiting on the finest which dropped Monday. You have zero confirmation still just rumors. Although they are strong I can tell you we are not at confirmation stage
