You sign up and take the free 1 credit FEMA courses through FEMA independent study online site. Then after you have accumulated the number of credits needed you can have them put on an official regionally accredited transcript through FREDERICKS COMMUNITY COLLEGE in Maryland for around $85 per credit.

 Yes, however it is fully legit in the eyes of regional accreditation and the department. I used it LONG ago for my undergrad to finish off some electives that I didn't feel like taking.

It is completely legit. If you are short credits, you can also look into CLEP and DANTES. I got an Associates Degree entirely that way without stepping foot once into a college.

Also dont forget to get your Academy credits. I received 38 credits.
