the first wave of mentoring ends on july 27 the same day the current class gets promoted. the word is that the finest should be dropping either the 25,26 or the 27th and a new class going in monday july 30th. don't know how big the class will be. Then the second wave of mentoring should be going to their temporary commands in August, and then into the leadership program after Labor Day.

Good stuff Arrow, how about replenishing the Mentoring Program, is this an ongoing thing or just for the summer months?
So it looks like it's going to be 6 weeks and under 50 people, if my math is correct. Glad the 8 week rumor turned out to be nonsense. Congrats to all that made it!
Judging by the next wave of mentoring that should be going in Bmoc in September they will be up to roughly 360. There most like will be another class before the year is up but hopefully two. So I figure best case scenario no more then 500 for this year. Remember there wont be many vacancies after these two classes. Im in low 1800s and dont think they will get to me unless divine intervention happens.

If they average 460-470 a year you should be good.
Why do people care what the wishlist has on it if you are not the one in current class?
Some people are waiting on their transfers and it wont come down untill their command gets a replacement Sgt. Common sense
Didnt know that many people have such pull to just get up and transfer.
Like Regi said, if you are already a Sgt and put in for a transfer to either A) Another command or B) A particular unit, your movement is dependant on whether your command receives another Sgt. That is why people are curious as to what commands are on the list.
I'm not waiting for a transfer. It would just be nice to have an extra sgt working to split patrol so I can go down to the locker room and sleep a few hours.
