It will if they are trying to implement the neighborhood policing model. I heard there trying to make it 1:6 instead of the old 1:8 so that will open up more spots for sgt rank.

If you been around long enough you know that when these chiefs leave, their ppl will leave with them for fear of getting ****ted on now that their protection is gone. You may very well see retirements due this shakeup which will be good for our list.
Also there's always those bosses who feel like the sky is about to fall when these big changes start and they decide to retire too.

Agreed. This is the only potential good news for us, that some of their ppl will follow them out the door and give way to more promotions.

Finally you post something accurate mbreeze lol. You're right a lot of these super chiefs have sgts/lts who follow them all the way to the top. I predict you will see a lot of people leave today. After the shake up the one name that was clearly missing was Chief Holmes....interesting. I dont think the shake up is over yet boys.

Funny guy. Rumor says that Holmes was lobbying for Chief of Dept but clearly that wasn't happening. She was offered Chief of Transit and turned it down and asked to stay where she is. There are definitely more shakeups coming. Still more spots to fill. Just hoping their ppl retire with them.
