I agree with you guys. You are right. But this could end up hurting someone IF (I hope not) they cut the list.

I hope everyone who really deserves this promotion makes it. I know so many good guys in the 2000's who would make great, great bosses.

How do you explain people Leaving the protest session 10-12
Points below 70 but still being on the list? Is 7 the accurate number of throw outs?

I know someone who picked up 9 points. Not including the seniority points. Another that picked up 8 points.

I am just happy I made the list, and I am not the type to rain on everyones parade, congrats to everyone who made it.

But I would like to know exactly how this exam was graded. I close friend of mine, who is a great guy and I am really, really happy for, had the same protest date as me and scored 6 points lower then me (64) and because he had 10 years on, he ended up being on the list as a passer with the same grade as me. I simply believe this is a little unfair, for a raw score passer to have a much higher score then someone who failed and because of the curve they ended up passing.

This curve potentially moved many people back a few hundred names.

What is the departments plan with this list ?

You only get additional points if you pass the test

If you dont get promoted on a test this fair with a list this big then you cant blame anyone but yourself.

And you havent learned that life isnt fair yet? Why cant i win the lotto? Why cant i work on the pcs security detail?

There is no curve.. You do understand what a curve is right? Questions were successfully protested resulting in double answers and throw outs which gave people who initially thought they failed enough points to pass..

I cant belive what Im reading , youre not this guys friend youre ready to stab him in the back.  He passed fair and square and got seniority points which he earned by being a cop while you were doing god knows what.  Theres no curve he earned his score.  I would hate to have you as a partner.

I cant believe this sh*t either....this is a close friend of his that hes bitc*ing about?

Thats like rookies complaining about crappy vacation picks or having to work holidays. Sense of self entitlement among some of these new guys is truly amazing.

He deleted his post but not before his true colors were shown. Why stop at complaining at seniority points? He shouldve also complained about veterans points. Screw the military veterans! Right? Lol.
