I know for a lieutenants exam doing 2 schools is fairly standard, but how about all 3? I'm not taking any chances with this one so the extra insurance is no big deal (you're looking at $2100 for all 3 which is reasonable considering it's an important promotion). I either make it or die trying.
There is no nobility in dying when you are spending at least $2,100. Two courses will suffice. Too many mixed messages and styles with 3. If you bought the 3 already, rock on. I wish you success. Determination and dedication is a great qualiTy of a leader. Something the department lacks.

Yes you are. One is enough. To be honest I think you're actually hurting yourself doing 3. The patrol guide is enough material, now you're looking at 3 courses worth of material.
I think you def have to do Rising Star coupled with one of the others...that being said with all three offering distance learning doing all 3 doesnt seem as crazy as it sounds... i def think waiting for the key to start in feb is a big mistake... you should have 202 203 204 down pat by now
My captain was telling me he used the KSA Procedural Guide for Police Supervisors along with a class while studying for the LT and Capt exams. Anyone have any input about that book?
KSA.....Artie Strorch and his team been retired for years.... What would his crew know about today's tests.... With that being said, why would you even consider them? But out of curiosity, what's the first 3 digits of his tax #?

I wasn't considering anything, I was asking because I didn't know.
He has a 922 tax, didn't get promoted all that long ago.
