I heard a week ago, from another sgt that list is under 300 and his source was someone from dcas that he says its confirmed. I havent posted this info because im always skeptical, but now that i read that Lt Ng from Bmoc backs that up, my fears are that it is a small list. I really dont want to study again for another possible nightmare test

If all this wait leads to the original doom n gloom ballpark figure of under 300...what a tortuous way to go.

If that occurs at least disgraces like myself have a quick turnaround time for another Lt exam. Absolutely brutal.

bmoc doesn't know anything.....trust me on that one! but under 300 could occur...im not saying it cant. But it would not be backed up by bmoc when personnel doesn't even have the list yet

yeah uniformed promos unit wouldnt know anything. but, i think the reality is to be prepared for anything. could be a small list with another exam shortly or it could be large and everyone happy. to the guys who passed this----congrats-----u studied ur asses off and u deserve the rank. to the military and sabbath scammers----eat s**t. if i dont make this im retiring not too far off and i say to all that have some time left dont let this douche capt beat you. he is a parasite.

i agree with the Lt Ng is a toolbag comment. not only did he preach to screw cops any chance you get but he tried to embrass me in the 1st bmoc class of the 2011 sgt exam when i was 5 mins late in his stupid wanna be bensonhurst accent. and you know what---it didnt work idiot. this is a civil service job not seal team 6!!!! screw u Ng!!!! your afraid of the street. period. sincerely, first day late guy.

If your going from that post earlier he said in the ''300's'' not under 300. Either way I don't think anyone know anything yet. They are all speculations.

Haha son of exabier I remember that!!!! So funny to bring back memories. As for bmoc knowing...just so you know they said the 11 list would be cut...obv we know how that turned out. Listen we have all been wrong before...but bmoc for a unreleased list is not reliable...TRUST me on that one.

Lmao. It is I my May 2012 BMOC alum! We had tippy and tuppy amongst our ranks too. Never wrote a thing in my cmd log except tic tac toe w my seat mate airborne guy. Hope u guys passed I got a 66 and will prob not see u guys in lt BMOC to listen what this clown Ng has to say---but no one can take our BMOC greatness away!!!!!

all the guys who I talk to that regualary deal with these tests....have been saying the same thing to me recently...low number of throwouts. When I ask why DCAS still has the list? same answer...bc they are incompetent at best and drag their feets...but honestly, you just don't know

It's only been alittle over a month since dcas got the list. they have to get the points from different units and adjust the list. Plus holidays in December slowed things down too. So technically it hasn't been that long.

Exactly! It's only been a few weeks since the last makeups took the exam too. Work almost grinds to a halt in the private sector in the last two weeks of December. I think it's safe to assume absolutely nothing gets done in a city agency like DCAS during thosee weeks. The way I see it, there have only been two legit working days since December 21 (specifically yesterday and today).

Ok so sgt promotion slated for January 28...why is this important?list release of the 27 still could mean a january class...the job has gotten a partial list before to clear nsmes...I hope it's the same this time around!

I've been asking several people, I'm being told they inquired about the list yesterday and they were told next week. One person i know told me he thinks it will be Monday and another person told me that usually the lists are sent down friday afternoons. Based on that, I'm expecting the list sometime next week with the vet letters by the end of this one week.

yeah sounds like the vet letters go out next week--lets hope these people w at least like 68/69 s get letters cause if they don't, I d say its safe to say its gonna be a small list.

I've always said <10 and I'very been wary about handicapping it any further because I didn't want to put the whammy on it. Anyway, here it goes: I thought the old 9 TO/TD rumor was reasonable. I think the latest 5 total is definitely possible too. I'm going to split the middle between the two and go with 7 TO/TD. I think some version of the list (without final scores) will be available by mid month and the 27th sounds good for the official list.

List was requested for mid january....job wants to put a class in end of the month...waiting on dcas for list so next few weeks looks like it will be over. No clue on size or number of throwouts. This has been stated before but def true

Before we can say the list will be out on 1/27, someone should reach out to the FIT Unit to see if they got anything from DCAS. Until they figure out fitness points, there will be no list.
