I need some serious advice guys..

I thought the list was coming out today.. I am one of those that are few points shy from a 70 and believed I was going to learn my fate today. I spent half of my day refreshing this website. My spirits were totally down today. I even posted a rant telling Ondeeair that his guru status meant nothing, and out of frustration requested for DRPapi to take a hike.. In sum and substance I told DRpapi "don't be a fool, to stay in school" as I referenced his infamous elementary posts which consist of "LMAO" and "100% agree"
Reason I come to you all is seeking advice, I was a bit cranky all day since I was assured that the list was going to come out today with serious changes. So with this information I told one of my bosses to "FC*K OFF", "that this job was a joke", "that he was a joke" before I went EOT today.

Any suggestions for me.

The list was supposed be out today. DCAS had it signed, stamped, sealed and ready to deliver. They notified the job late in the afternoon. This notification came down late purposefully so they could jet out of the office at 5pm without any hassles. Their doors were locked up tight. It will be out tomorrow.

The number I got was 204 names - no changes. The number given to me may be off by a few digits, otherwise, I highly doubt my sources are wrong.

Sorry guys but there is no 11th hour rescue. I am sitting on a 68. We failed. It is as simple as that and it will be in black and white tomorrow.

Whether you want to get a lawyer and take them to task, focus on winning the next exam (coming soon) or simply get on with your life is up to you. Whatever you decide now is the time to figure out what your next move is going to be.

So why not sent it out at the end of the day to avoid hassle ? wont they get the said hassle in the morning, if its signed sealed and stamped, its just one click away for the email or a casual stroll to 1pp for the physical list delivery. I cant see how 1-10-45-54-106 are not throw outs. These are the ones i protested, and i think i did a great job on.
Also i wont with the lawsuit thats a waste of time, but a little email and letter to the media with this antipolice atmosphere and racial bias, will go along way. I will make sure to drop an OEEO before incase the department tries to come after me, then you will have your lawsuit.
How can the department willingly allow a list with almost 50% are scammers. It makes absolutely no sense.

Got f'd in the a. Really want to see the protest review. they have gotten us good. #1 was clearly a mind dvck and the correct answer was probably hidden in some crazy assortment of nonsense but nontheless still there to be easily overlooked. Just a guess since no one seems to be able to tell me. everything else seems pg stuff that who knows the excuse not to throw them out.

I can confirm some of DOA's post. The list is done and at DCAS. It was supposed to be sent over yesterday, but it wasn't, for whatever reason. I have no idea on the number of passers, but I would expect the list to make its arrival at 1PP today.

There will be another exam in early next year, this list will move slow this year evidently and then spring 2017 u guys will have another crack at the white shirt. A true disgrace this happened. Yes it is 204. I don't know how the 218 number changed, the numbers I got were a little off. But, as u haters will hate and bash I had 208 MONTHS ago u sc*msuckers!!!!! Eat my s**t. Eat it. It is evident the instructors had no clue about the last test. We were geared towards the wrong materials. I know everyone is pointing blame at that Captain. But remember we paid for those classes and they should accept some responsibilities as well.

I hate to agree with Ondeeair but the list is coming out today. It should have came out yesterday but DCAS likes to play games. Gotta wait for DCAS to get in which is any min. Just an FYI we could sit here and blame the Captain who wrote this exam all we want but at the end of the day DCAS makes the call on what's thrown out. Believe what you want.

Yes it comes on a CD. DCAS puts the list in numerical order. It has then has to be arranged alphabetically by T&R. Also Social Security numbers have to be whited out before the list is released.
