So before we left for the day we were told that promotions on the 28 are canceled and the commissioner is being given a few options on what to do with us. So as of right now we are continuing bmoc as planned and that's all the info anyone has

My BMOC had our promotions postponed by 1 week. They sent us to the range one day, 250 workshop another, and then to random commands (not our own) for 3 days. They called us the day before with our commands.

Ok new news. Monday getting promoted by first dep at the academy. Then October 30th is the official promotion at 1pp. Sgts for October are canceled. And lts are also canceled. 7 captains are getting promoted sept 30 with a make shift promotion like us. Then 10 more on October 30.

The department knew about all this months ago, they probably underestimated the amount of personal needed for all these details.

 Some guys went to the Bronx, others to manhattan, several to brooklyn and very few to queens and Staten Island.

October is canceled. There was 6 upfront promotions today and they were told that they will be sent to work in their boro until next months bmoc.
