well well well. Almost done with this list. First of all congrats to all that made. Second to all the trolls that said it would be killed, what happened?? All the excuses they used. One was that it was going to be killed cause the city didn't sell all the taxi medallions. Can't remember the rest but here's to the end of the list. Cheers
Ppl have difference of opinions. I'll be the first to raise my hand saying list will be cut. I stated it was merely opinion. Now if another 1600 list comes out for sgt the hysteria behind cutting or not should be lessened. This list was in fact a new situation that never occurred when the passing score of 70 was created. Stop the non sense and the gloating compared to those who possessed a difference of opinion. Good luck to all
Question, since everybody is going to make it, what never happened before with the test since the passing score of 70? Why was this one so different?
Never Had a sgt list w so many ppl passing. Had a lt list w 1400 or so but that list expired and ppl died on the list. Ppl thought the job was trying to hire "cream of crop" hence the list being cut. It never happened and we learned that a big sgt list will all make it
I think if you didn't believe at all this list was going to be cut when the 2013 test was announced with SO many names still left on the 2011, you were kidding yourself. I always thought it was very unlikely, but still a possibility.
All no longer moot now! Congrats to all of you and the last 25ish guys and girls left. You waited a very, very long time.
It was a dumb point I was trying to make. No list has been cut since an established passing score has been made. This list followed the same pattern as any list prior, and nothing was new except the list size. And even the test before 2011 was given they waited close to a year and a half to even establish there list if anyone recalls and they didn't cut the prior list to that. Moral of the story is, anyone was kidding themselves if they thought this list was getting cut. Great job and good luck to all that passed. Gloat all to want buddy, everyone is making it!
