What's the deal with the Test Validation Board (or whatever the hell they call it)? I recall reading here at some point that it's findings were made public. If this were true, it follows we at least would know what questions were throwouts, doubles, etc long before we get our official score in the mail months from now.
I know a lot of people talk out of there ass on this site. This question isn't for you. Does anyone have direct experience with this process and know for certain how this process goes from here? It would be nice to know whether I ultimately passed or failed this thing sometime before Halloween.
I thought that if you protested they give you a date to come down and see what they tossed etc.
This is what I found from reading 2013 sgt's exam thread however, I have a friend who protested questions on 2011 Lt's exam and he told me that's incorrect info.
If you protested questions, you can go down and see their written justification for keeping or changing questions. This is done immediately after the list is released.
Since 43 Lt's are getting promoted on Friday,, i read on another post that they have about 50 active and 12 passovers left on the 2011 list,, now the question is ,,with that amount of people left on the list.. i'm assuming the TVB should be getting together pretty soon ?? !
I think just like they did with the previous delay of promoting captains this year that the same will hold true for Lts. There will probably be a big slowdown this year which is why they promoting so many today.
Even if they only put in two LT class for the rest of the year. They would still mail your score and list number to you in october because they would have to give you another 30 days to protest additional department points before the final list could be established by November.

That's true. I spoke to the detective from CTB who is one of the contact people for an application. She said they do have the most of the Lts already. The Department will need moe Lts to backfill where these Lts came from. Most of the Lts have from the 899 to 901 tax numbers. Supposedly there will be a lot of overtime to dish out CRC too. they also had at least 50 sergeant applicants for about 28 spots. I can see why people with a lot of time on the job would want to go there. It is supposed to be real good for the O.T.
