Well Lt. Exam Veteran, I am sure that you did well because you changed your study tactics. But this test was frraking hard as nails. I managed to do better with my time as well! But still, the sheer questions and the format, as well as the things that were asked, made this one a very hard test!
I agree with you. The 2015 exam was extremely difficult. In 2011, you had a chance to pass even if you didn't study that hard due to the limited PG questions. I just dropped the ball. This time around you had to study hard and be mentally prepared. This is exam was designed to trap you and waste time. Not what a promotional exam should be. If you dedicate seven months of your life studying and sacrificing time with your family that should be more than enough to pass. It seems that they have been giving relatively fair Captains and Sergeants exams. For some reason, they keep giving crazy Lieutenant's exams that are extremely difficult to prepare for.
failed both exams. 2011, after throw outs, needed that one point to get on the list. Ironically i barely studied, more towards cram courses. this time around put my heart and soul into it. from day one, every day. did tons of questions from elite, key app, did very well on rising. key rewrites baloney gave me low 90s. Yanosiks trimesters had upper80s low 90s. dcas-61. i am not throwing in my towel yet, whether in 2016 or 2019

BUT 2011 was the first test of its kind. Theres something to be said for the shell-shock value it provided. There was no precedent for a test like that. This time around there was a possiblity however remote that this may follow the same steps of the 2011 test (i thought after that garbage and the complaints of 2011 that this one would be fair, that shows the job doesnt care) this test was very difficult but i had a lesson learned: dont fall for the shiit they will throw at me and stay focused. When i fight the test it robs me of my energy. I was treating this more mental than anything else, i wasnt going to let them hook me Again. It is evident that this test was designed fvck with your mental acumen by taking away your time...after 3 hour of f'ed in basket and not feeling confortable at all with the answers the rest of test became a gamble....not if you had prepared prior not to let them sucker-punch you.

Died on the 2006 List... Really thought that I would be promoted off that one being that a Chief's daughter was 200 names behind me... Had a raw score of 64 on the 2011; picked up 4 out of the 17 double/triple/throwouts, ending with a 68... Study my asssss off like many of you from day one; 2015 raw score of 61..... I dont have any hope.. If it does happen, I will be surprised.. As I mentioned in my other posts... Congrats to all that passed so far and the 300 or so who will make it after the final key comes out...
UC I feel your pain bro. I got a 67 and too many mother****ers who are 65 and up are drinking the koolaid and waving the pompoms too much.
People need to remember that a successful protest is proving their answer is as good OR better than the proposed answer key. Simply mailing NOE's to the protests or writing that a questions is poorly written without any explanation isn't gonna work
