Regarding the protest: be sure to tell the DCAS employee you would like to submit copies of your patrol guide as evidence. They will come around and stamp it. You can then turn in your supporting documents before leaving. I was able to submit pages from my elite patrol guide for all questions I wished to protest.
they accepted the pages i submitted from my elite guide with out any problems. I had many markings from highlighters and from different color ink pens. no problems.
I even when as far as putting a STAR next to the point I wanted them to view.
What # was social media ops order? If no one feels comfortable sharing the info just give me a range please
brother, the best advice i can give you is go on the department intranet, print out that particular order, read it before hand, and bring it with you. After you view the exam if the question is on there, good luck. If not use your ammo to protest any question you may have gotten wrong. Best of luck to you all

Links to the Notice: Tell DCAS employee you would like to add this as supporting documents as you would any other pages from your patrol/elite guide.

www.nyc.gov/html/dcas/downloads/pdf/noes/201505535000.pdf This is our NOE
I also printed out a copy of the wording below provided to us by SLATE. This came in handy and pretty much wrote it word for word
I respectfully request that the Question #_ that deal with Operations Order #_ should be nullified as this subject was not listed in the official NOTICE OF EXAMINATION(NOE Included & Highlighted) and I did not have the requisite notice to study the necessary material and properly prepare. As a result, I was unfairly prejudiced and, with this test being given once only 4 years, these questions have the potential to derail my career and negatively impact my life. My research shows that on a 2013 Sergeant Exam, Operations Orders were a separate topic listed in the NOTICE OF EXAMINATION(NOE Included & Highlighted), which means that the DCAS is well aware that it is not a subsection, but a separate category of police procedures. The questions selected should come from materials previously designated as the ones that will be tested. Any extremists questions may as well be on the subjects unrelated to police work. The notice was misleading and unfair, and deprived me of the ability to study the correct subject matter.
Last thing, you will write out this passage and attach both our NOE and 2013 Sgt NOE to every question protested with 'Test' section highlighted.

Either I got it right or it was research because I don't remember seeing it. I mostly only looked at questions I got wrong though.
Research.
Thanks, that's what I thought. I was thinking that one would possibly be a throw out as well. It was the only Operations Order I actually knew and then when they combined it with the PG procedure I thought that was incorrect as well, but the most correct. Oh well, didn't count anyway.
