For the Fighters out there....

Its amazing to see how many people give up at the last stage of the game...

If you think about it, a person who averaged 3 hours a day, put in approximately 550 hours towards this test.  To say,  I am just going to protest session to review my answers is pretty weak and you are declaring yourself defeated before even starting the final round.

Anyways...,  for those who will stick around and fight, i put together a little paragraph challenging the lack of Ops orders on our NOE. Read it. Let me know if you think something else should be added. it is not written in stone and you may tweak this the way you seem fit....

I respectfully request that the Question #_ that deal with Operations Order #_ should be nullified as this subject was not listed in the official NOTICE OF EXAMINATION(NOE Included & Highlighted) and I did not have the requisite notice to study the necessary material and properly prepare. As a result, I was unfairly prejudiced and, with this test being given once only 4 years, these questions have the potential to derail my career and negatively impact my life. My research shows that on a 2013 Sergeant Exam, Operations Orders were a separate topic listed in the NOTICE OF EXAMINATION(NOE Included & Highlighted), which means that the DCAS is well aware that it is not a subsection, but a separate category of police procedures. The questions selected should come from materials previously designated as the ones that will be tested. Any extremists questions may as well be on the subjects unrelated to police work. The notice was misleading and unfair, and deprived me of the ability to study the correct subject matter.

Last thing, you will write out this passage and attach both our NOE and 2013 Sgt NOE to every question protested with 'Test' section highlighted.

All of this of course if Ops Orders are not research......

Well written. This could also be used for crime reference guide questions. They were also posted on the 2013 sgt exam NOE and omitted from our NOE...

All you would do is simply use the above format and replace "ops orders" with "crime reference guide" as appropriate. I agree that protesting crime reference guide is more of a long shot than ops orders, but it is still worth a try.

POWER IN NUMBERS. If 100's of people protest a question DCAS would be more likely to consider a throw out for that question.

This is our NOE.

Everyone going needs to print out at least 10 of both. Both NOE's need to be attached to every protest.

I would say this paragraph is close to impeccable, other than the part about the test given every four years and all that. To each their own, but DCAS doesn't care about you, that should be more than obvious. I may use some of the points you used though, I'm protesting all the O.O. questions I got wrong. Didn't even think about Crime Reference Guide, I'll print out a few more NOEs.

For those attending the protest;

Pay close attention and dissect the questions that had multiple procedures and/or guides; there were 21 of them. These questions have the best odds of a possible conflict with the other procedures which may result in a double/triple, etc. answer.

Best of Luck!!
