Although it's too Late for us , the sure fire way to be sure this never happens again is by embarrassing the job. This test should be brought to light. However, the public will only see that the "front line" supervisors can only manage at best , high 70s on an exam. Now although we know this is not because we are incapable of doing well. It will cause enough embarrassment at the top , to prevent a future disaster of a test . Unfortunately the job does not care about us. But..... They do not like embarrassment . To the regular civilian we will look incompetent. But the powers that be will know this is a direct result of a "bad test".
Job doesn't care about this, general public doesn't care about this.
Look at it this way. DCPI will release a statement saying that job has such high standards for promotional exams that few people pass them and those who do are the best of the best. no other dept nationwide has such hard exams.
if you want to expose something you should expose retards in upper management level like a former CO of 26 Griffith who made a DI not long ago. he criticized the job claiming that dept. forced Banks to resign. shortly he made a DI. but in reality guy is a moron. clueless like there is no tomorrow.
Fight at the protest as hard as you can. After that, bend over and accept the results. No one cares! The fact this sad truth has to be expressed repeatedly on a forum full of UMOS who have at least 5 years on is shocking to me.

Sig226. I respect your posts and your position about things most of the time. But please go to the rant with that last statement. Talk stuff that is informative to people who like myself got bamboozled by the people who administered this test.

Be sure to moisturize while out there fighting crime.
stop, the jobs on the level. They do not care. It shows by the last Sgt exam (130 questions) the judgement Lt test and this, this aaaaaah I don't even know what to call this test. That they don't care and there's nothing we can do about it. Let's be honest about it
I know they don't care about us. But they hate being embarrassed even more. If u want to prevent this from happening again,,,,, then whoever has a connect to the media.... use it. Otherwise this will be repeated after the next exam.... And honestly the studying most of us did, was probably more than we did for our sergeant exam.... Knowing very well that the real possibility the test would be tough.. But how much more outrageous can this test get?
There's only one way to protest and it an improbability, it will never happen. It's for no one to sign up for a promotional test. It will never happen. That's why they don't care
No one cares. Not even sergeants that just took this test. I can't tell you how many sergeants I have personally spoken to that aren't going to the protest because they think they are too far off a 70. If you can't get people that just got smacked with this test to care, then why would anyone outside the department?
Theyre going to have 15 research questions that were very tough... And suddenly it will be a decent sized list. Personally, i dont see how the media would care about a tough promotional exam that is practically by the book... Although extremely tricky
