Guys if you have'nt already done so Please, please, please send in your paperwork so as you can protest questions. You have nothing to lose. Go to the Post Office and send your protest in registered mail, pronto. Everyone who took the Exam has a vested interest in this. Every single person should lodge a protest no matter how much of a chance you think you have of winning it. Lets stick together. Lets do this. If you can't make the protest please private message me any questions you think will have a chance. I will be in that DCAS Office writing protest questions until they kick me out. For the Sergeants protest session I was there 8 hours. :)
This is important, many people did not go to 2011 protest session, and they should have. I was there helping to fight the 2011 abomination. Many people talk the talk but when it comes time to actually do the protest they rely on others. Dont be " that guy".
when it comes time to it---not many ever show up. we all know this to be a fact. just the way it is. i think w/out the promo school guys it will be very difficult
What are you bringing with you as material? I only have the Elite PG. Should I just print procedures that I can remember from the intranet (assuming they are not updated already)? I don't have much of an attack plan here.
Yano sent an emaill out stating that he was going to send something out this week with regards to "how" to protest the questions at DCAS. Hopefully, he will answer some of the questions that we have.
yes. for a Lt s exam. this is the first Lt s exam the promo instructors cant go and fight. that isnt good. the 2013 sgt exam had one throw out w/out them
i believe there was 1. dont know how he survived. bottom line is they are gonna have to form a list--whether that is of 200 or of 500 its anyones guess.
We are NYPD Sergeants and hopefully many of us will be Liuetenants soon. Although it would be nice having the school's instructors there with us holding our hands, we are in a point in our career where we should know how to defend ourselves in a court-like setting. We know the material and we have the court/legal experience that should help us.
I've never been to a protest section, but if we prepare we should be able to handle ourselves accordingly. Let's get it together already Sergeants....soon possibly Lieutenants.
