I am sure I was not the only ome in a classroom where the test proctor told us no highlighters. Then told us, no writing in the actual test booket. No one listened in the classroom I was in. People told her we were anyway but I am sure a few attempted to enforce this rule. At a minimum, it cut into our test time because the test already started when we were told this. Anyone else have the same issue.
Our room didn't allow anything other then #2 pencils. You know how hard it is making notations that stand out on a roll call or inbasket in pencil!! Lmao I know others that used pens and highlighters.
guys this has been gone over and over again...there is no protest here for the things. WE can complain all we want, but the no highlighter thing has been tried before. Do yourself a favor and focus on the patrol guide with what we can remember question wise. That thing has conflicts left and right and im pretty sure we can find acouple to pick at.
It said on your admission ticket all you're allowed to have is pencils and a non-scientific calculator. I've taken 4 promotional exams and been told no highlighters at all of them.
My proctor said they don't let you use highlighters because some of them can be used as scanners. There was an announcement made over the loudspeaker by some pencil neck at the Manhattan location before the test began.
