What the Gamblor Data tells us

So after a review on my own as well with people who put in the study time on the level I did we all band within 4-5 diff answers in a plus or minus. I now have 34 different then the Gamblor key. the hard core intelligent studiers I have spoken with are between 20-28 different on this key. I would say it is pretty safe to say that you have to be pre-38 to be in fight I would say post 39-40 u are done. this key can away a lot indeed but mathematically it makes sense. just my thoughts not fact so relax

They are not really wrong. They are unpopular but I don't think you can consider them wrong

Last night i was showing 37 different after the first key, now i am showing 36 with his updated. I as well am just hoping to break 70. It will come down to whichever reasearch questions they throw out. I am not banking on many additional throwouts with that captain but we will still have to bring the fight to him on protest day. Good puck everyone

we absolutely must must must face this guy and be prepared to argue every point. Every body who took the test seriously should be at the protest session. I am ready to sit the entire length of the test to do that whether I end up passing or needing a few more points. Why? Because this is not what being promoted should be about. It should be about your ability to supervise and handle real situations in the field not trickery and mind ****ing. He and the rest of the test makers took something from me I will never ever get back. I sat for 8 months driving contradicting sentence after sentence in to my brain. Mother****ing MOBRICKSIP and Pattdpill and Rambro ...they won't leave my brain! I neglected my son, my husband, and myself. Like many of you I am sure! All I wanted was a fair test. It could be hard, but be based on what we were expected to know! You gave me a ****ing mess for a test, with errors and bull****. I want to make an ******* out of him. I want every body to question his sanity. This guy is out to hurt cops. He is out to hurt your chances of ever reaching a rank close to him. He went home and jerked off on test day to all of us bewildered by his questions. I am taking this very personal.

the 2013 sgt exam. the throw out was all in the middle. the whole in basket counted and questions after 93 all counted.

I disagree with e OP there are listed answers as marked right on the key which I looked up and that answer is not the correct one even though the majority put it.....I think 35-40 wrong and you have the shot to pass.

Im a little confused with the answer key. When you guys are saying you got xx amount wrong are u counting the total wrong answer breakdown or just the high and moderate probability

well i have been studying for 10mths ( i read the PG, ADMIN, LBB and the Penal Law 4 times, 9 hour a day)  and i used gamblor's excel sheet and not counting questions  rated as low unless i have the same predicted as the answer i have  21 wrong

not to sound like a geek or nerd i spoke to many of ppl who took the test and i ask them about certain questions on the inbasket and they had the wrong answer for sure i can tell you  12,18,20 are wrong and they tricked every one when i realize it all i can say was (f*&king Bastards) i saw where they was trying to trick us after explaining it to ppl there realize what i was talking about

i really wish i can talk about the answer on online but you still have ppl taking the test ( all i can say is the pass the in basket all you had to do was focus on four Items for most of the inbasket)

i wrote down my answer on sheet as well as the little scam they have

PM me if u need more info

To be at just 21 wrong that's amazing. Great job bro. Did u give your sheet to Gamblor? The more sheets he gets the better for us mortals.

I'm at 39 wrong- I feel as though 38-41 wrong is on life support. I know most people seem to have struggled with the in basket and the last 20 (101-120). It will depend where they pull their "research" questions from. If it's all middle questions like the 130 Question Sgt exam a lot of 35-40 wrong people will be heartbroken including myself.

Yeah man... This is disappointing.. At 41 wrong, I don't stand a chance.. I busted my hump to provide my wife a better life and now that's gone. At 12 years on the job, I don't think I can take this test again.. Thanks Captain Douchebag for nothing.. I hope that your pony tail gets caught in your RMP door and your driver pulls away to a 10-13 and drag you down the street. I will haunt his dreams for the rest of his life that loser p**ck. I hope that he falls into a box of crumpled answer keys and gets a paper cut.

The last Capt test the research questions were all over no particular place

evidently b/c of integrity purposes the research questions MUST be identified BEFORE the exam. they have to ID them before--its civil service law. and i have a feeling they will be spread throughout.

So basically if you potentially got a bunch of the research questions wrong that could help you?

Yes.. The idea is to have your wrong research questions tossed

Does anyone know the score of the #1 person on the 2011 Lieutenant List and the lowest score that made the first class?

Someone that took the exam months after got 100 and I have been told she worked in Chief Banks office.

But for the people that had no help, I think the #1 score after the challenges were applied was in the low 90's.

Just a heads up, on the 2013 Sgt test, out of the 30 research questions, they were 30 easy questions according to gamblors answer sheet. They were all the high probability questions. Out of the 30, I got them all right according to gamblors sheet. And my final score was the lowest possible according to the excel sheet.

If thats the case, they'll have a nice meaty list of 30 guys. Hope thats the case... That'll be hilarious.
