66. Need some throw outs. I can't wait to go back to work to have the 3rd pltn cmdr and ops coor. Tell me how these exams are straightforward both passed 1999 exam.
for version 1 it showed I had 37 wrong answers and a potential score of 70, version 2 showed 36 wrong answers but my potential score went down to a 69. I can only hope something goes my way in 5 weeks. Hopefully the DCAS math will go my way in 5 weeks
A buddy of mine brought up a good point. There are 26 "low confidence" questions. Out of those, 7 were part of the in basket and 19 outside of the inbasket. If this key is any indication of how they chose which questions are research, hopefully the "low confidence" ones are the ones they throw out. These low confidence ones are so scattered in the answer choices by guys and girls on this board that they might be the ones thrown on there to throw us off and conduct whatever "research" they accomplish by them.
How domyou figure out your score according to that answer key? You're supposed to out your info on the right side? Or are you just counting how many of your answer match?

Do you know if they will tell us which questions were the research questions at the protest review?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^------these people just took the hardest exam of the century im sure they ll see the discrepency with the troll ondeeair232I. prob capt insano. im sure he has a ris star acct and trolling these blogs to get angry
Anyone remember what the answer to the grammar one was? Just send the letter so as not to give the answer up. Or if anyone remembers the number of the question ill reference the key. Thanks
on the updated list i went up from a potential 46 to a 50. went from having 57 right to having 59 right, with three double answers. so basically this test is a giant crap shoot and we can make all the keys in the world and the only one that will matter is in 6 weeks. Thanks you Gambler for the hard work and the key. It definitely brings perspective as to what everyone was thinking during this exam.
When I took the 14 capt test I was a possible 69 on gamblors key... I ended up with a 75 ...Amazingly enough there were 4 questions where say for example 50 people had A and only 5 had B...I of course had to assume my B was wrong ...But in the end .. the B was right...so don't ever underestimate yourself when you are checking off your answer key to this list. don't assume that anyone knows better than you...One think I noticed from my key was that out of the 1st 60 questions I got only 5 wrong...Then I **** the bed the last 60 and got like 35 wrong.. So I hoped that the majority of the research questions were from the last half of the test cause then I know that most of what I got wrong was research.. If they were majority in the 1st 60 then I knew I was fkd casue the majority of my wrong answers were in the last 60..

Best screen name and picture ever lol. Thats a great movie
Anyone else enter their answers in to two different excel programs and get two diff potential scores? And yes I double checked the letters were the same on both?
It could be because after you input number 120, u need to tab to another box otherwise it wont count you answer for 120 if the cursor is still in that box. I was seeing my score jump by 1 point when i tabbed out of the box.
My number just went up to 69 using Google sheets. I hope this is true. When I took the 2011 sergeant exam the key done by CRY was off by 1 point. I hope there is a lot of stuff thrown out. We all worked hard and studied hard. Really would be let down if there are no throw outs.

when I used my phone I was probable 69 when I used my computer at home I was 70.. and I double and triple checked on both..it was a pain in the ass...depends on the version of ecxell you are using from what I was told
ONE PORKCHOP ONE ???...WOULD YOU JUST WATCH THE HAIR
First I want to thank the Gamblor for doing this for us. After leaving the test I thought I didn"t have a shot in the world of being on the list. But now with your list I have a little hope sitting on a 64. I do think however this could be the 1st Gamblor list that could be a little diffferent then the real answer key. The answers on this test were way to tight, and most choices sounded like the right answer. Just my opinion but this test is being compared with the 2013 Captain debacle, only worse. And alot more people sat for this exam then that test. But thank you again for giving us some hope.
With the first key, (around 50 inputs) i was at 75. With the second input I am at a 76. Am I confident? I dunno. too many variables. statistically, you'd expect to have the same average # wrong In the group of 20 research questions as you would in the 100 questions, but im not counting my chickens until they hatch.
It's no secret that Operation Orders were tested. I am not here to cite the actual ones that were tested but to provide some ammunition for a protest. Take a look at the following from the AG; so bring a copy of this procedure to the protest session. Just trying to help. That pony tailed Captain may not have researched this when making his question.
AG 322-29
PROCEDURES MAY NOT BE PUBLISHED IN AN OPERATIONS ORDER EXCEPT WHEN NECESSARY IN ANNOUNCING A PILOT PROGRAM.
Operations Orders expire upon conclusion of the event or situation which is the subject of the Order, or one year after publication, unless otherwise directed. Operations Orders are published by the Office of Management Analysis and Planning after approval of the Police Commissioner.
First off thanks to Gambler for helping us out. I know you didn't take the test and have nothing to gain personally.
Second I think this test was purposely written to have everyone fail. I question the motives of those involved in the process.
I studied pretty good for 7 months, scraficied time with my family and according to the key I'm sitting at a 72 not feeling good. In the end I hope they throw out some questions and we end up with a list of approximately 500. Good luck to all.
There are NOW 89 keys sourced to make this currently.
I removed the "Best Possible" and "Worst Possible" fields as they don't really happen and it leaves a lot of ambiguity. If you have never used this before, download the file and plug in your answers on the left. It will display what your estimated score is on the lower right, as well as provide a breakdown on the questions by assigning a confidence level. This is generated by looking at the disparity between people's answers. High confidence means that most people chose a particular answer so that is likely the correct one. Medium is a middle ground, and low means that it can be very close. Possible doubles are when two or more answers are neck and neck.
Historically, this key will be about 90-95% accurate to the real one, and your score will be accurate +/- about 3 or 4 points.
--------Original message-------
I'm sorry to hear that this test is much like those of the past. Hopefully, those of you that studied will still make it.
Someone had started collecting keys earlier today, but the post has been deleted for whatever reason. I'm not sure if he is still doing it (if so, I guess you can ignore this), but I'm happy to do the key for you guys. If you would like to submit your answer key (the more, the better), then send them to support@ottrack.com or PM me here. I'll gather them there and make the sheet. I'll post a download link for it as soon as I have enough keys to make something reasonable. You can continue to submit keys and I'll add them to the sheet to make it more accurate. Depending on how quickly I get them, I may get something out tonight, but if not, I'll make it happen tomorrow morning.
Summary: Send answer keys to support@ottrack.com or PM me here. I'll make the sheet and post later.

Hey Gamblor, are you going to put out an updated answer key anytime soon?
Is there anything that says 70 is passing? What do you think they will do if it's such a small list? if all the questions are legit and can't be thrown out, will they just lower the bar or have a list of 150-200?
Directly from the Notice of Examination:
THE TEST: You will be given a multiple-choice test at a computer terminal or a paper and pencil test. You will be informed of the format on your Admission notice. You must achieve a score of at least 70% to pass the test. Ratings for seniority, departmental awards, and if applicable, Veterans Preference Credit, will be added to the multiple-choice test scores of passing candidates only, to determine final scores.
First i would like to thank Gamblor for this amazing contraption he has invented. From people i know who have taken the last 3 promotional exams his invention is completely on point. His efforts have helped many get estimates of their future outcomes, unlike the job he's here to help those he can. However with that said i would like to add that i do believe for this exam the plus/minus will be off way more then 3 or 4. This exam was by far the most ridiculous ever made. It made 2011 look like a fair exam. I believe most fell for answers that were not the proper choice hence these grades will be very unpredictable. If this contraption does prove to be exactly accurate, not only do i fail miserably after studying for 6 months for no reason, then this contraption or appartus what ever you want to call it is absolutely amazing.

I have about another 20 keys that were sent to me. I will add them, probably sometime tonight, assuming my wife hasn't grown tired of me smashing ABACADABA into my keyboard endlessly. :)
I wouldn't assume that much of a change though. At this point, many of the answers are what they are, and a few more keys will likely only shift people maybe a point.

Thanks for all the help Gamblor. Saved alot of people from worrying their asses off for next month
Someone was mentioning that number 19 is def. C. I'm assuming you remember the question. Private message me why you are sure if you got a chance. I chose C also.
