Wheresthelist,
Do you think there's going to be a class next month? Or do you think their going to skip, until next year?

in my opinion there will be and i would say they will continue with about 55ish a month for the foreseeable future. But that is only my opinion. There is now way to really know based on sgt terminal numbers

Just based on above posts. 4 from October + 18 in November + 32 getting promoted to Lt. So can we assume to have a class of at least 54 sgts for December? Unless some of terminals didn't retire.

Not to sound like an absolute idiot but what does this mean? I see there were more sgts on terminal on your last post.

It's the number of sgts currently on terminal leave. These sergeants are on terminal until the date given. I.e December 2015. This could symbolize the number of sgts needed to be replaced by the dept. this usually holds true for lieutenants because that rank goes by vacancies not ratio. So there is a possibility that the maximum number the job will hire will be the number currently on terminal. It has seems to be less lately. Probably because of attrition of cops which means less sgts.

Oh and the list is not getting cut. This list should have been cut 12 or 13 times already if every rumor was true...
