They have no reason to cut the list to get to another list that is significantly smaller which would mean they would have to put out another sgts test in the very near future. Don't see it happening.

True. I don't think the list will be cut. I'm more worried about them skipping months again or doing a another set of classes with only 30 bodies. I'm thinking about the next step, the Lt's exam.

Friend from 1PP said. Only reason they put in a class of 30 in The lieutenants room is because of seating. Since BMOC already had a full class of sgts they could accommodate 30 guys only this month, but they in fact are looking to hire more sgts in the next few consecutive months.

I'm skeptical about this information but my guy is pretty accurate. I can think of more than one reason this doesn't make sense but I decided to share it with you guys and let you be the judge...but if he is right that's good news for the rest of you.

The sounds plausible. At least better than any other idea's I've heard as to why.

guys so you know....sounds like BMOC for september will start in manhatten and end in queens! they are moving sept 4 to the new building

Sizes of bmocs have never been dependent on space........it's a vacancy in the rank thing

Sept bmoc will move to new academy on the 8th. Aug bmoc is in the academy with us cuz bratton was on vacation last week. Their ceremony is this friday

Ng is the one who just said the list was getting cut, I don't have to much faith in him. Brat says it's to early so I'll go with her.

Lt. Ng never said a class was going in. He doesn't know. He usually finds out two weeks into the month.

Its too early to know. Go month by month on this list. I believe brat gets her info from the Lt.ng

every month a class is promoted they clear more people.For example right now the list is at 1243 so they gave the ok to clear up to 1342.They are checking if you have the education requirements ,iab holds,pending cd's and if you have to go In front of the board.They are actually higher than 1342 because my number is higher than that by a few

I will repeat NinR's question is there any way to find out if you're cleared for promotion?

No there is not. If you have no charges, no open corruption cases and no open misconduct cases and are not on performance monitoring, you will be promoted.

If you have CD's or bull**** open IAB investigations, personelle will request that those are all adjudicated and cleared so you can get promoted.

Anyone know if you can get passed over for CCrb charges? Dept advocate says it doesn't hold you up but its so new noone really knows. Does anyone have experience?

I called the pba lawyers a few weeks ago bc I have a ccrb coming down first or second week in nov and they said ccrb charges doesn't hold you up bc it's not the Nypd recommending charges. I called twice bc I was nervous about it to and I talked to 2 different people and they both said no. I also asked if they substantiate something and recommend charges before I get promoted and they said I've had both scenarios "listen, your getting promoted"

CCRB DOES NOT hold you up. I had to go to rector street in nov and would have been in the nov class but they cut the nov BMOC class right at my number. I got in January (dec down month).
