What's your source? I thought the promotions unit moved to the new academy, and they would be skipping September?

 nonono

TF, brat is the source.

(I was going to capitalize the 'is' or 'the' but all of those words should be emphasized.  Brat. Is. The. Source.)

I think I'm going to pay for the classes weekly and see how it goes if it looks like there is no shot then I'll just stop. Long shot but ya never know.

You are right on the border line. It's tough to say. If I would be you, I would study.
Brat stated that new academy has nothing to do with size of future classes though. It's whatever department needs.

If they do 55/month, we will be around mid-end 1500's for the exam.

The new academy classroom can fit roughly 90-100 people

And the auditorium can hold 800....... Doesn't mean that we'll have BMOC in there

The actual average is 43.8 a month. I would be guided by that.

If I go by the average I'll miss it by around 20. If they skip a month I'm done, one more small class I'm done too. If it's steady and they put in some decent sized classes I'll just make it. I wish I knew.

Sept BMOC is the last BMOC in Manhattan. All future BMOC will be in Queens.

The average is just that an average.  They can skip classes and have small classes as long as they do classes of 50 or 55 randomly that's why the average stays at 43.9. I would study and around dec assess where you're at.

Does anyone have any news as to current sgt vacencies?

It's ratio not vacancies. Right now it's pretty balanced.

Balanced I don't think so they have predictions and that's what they go off.

No.. It's balanced with vacancies. Predictions are for giving exams.. They were minus 200 sgts when they started promoting from our exam. Now with promotions and attrition they are pretty balanced. They put in a class of exactly what hey needed with the number on terminal and the number getting promoted to lieutenants for the last class
