Wishful thinking, but after the 38 on Mond id say not shot, but if there is im in there. Im hoping for August this way im not wasting my time reading this wonderful material for the Captn's test....Are we in the plus with the vacancies??

Just got an email from a family friend in personnel stating that I'm clear for the upcoming July promotions. (I'm less than 20 names away) I asked if he was sure n his response was"why would i email you if i wasn't?" Take it for what its worth but maybe that coincides with the Captn. promotion rumors.

No i was told months ago that i was clear for promotion. Basically he said theres going to be july promotions and im in there, but im still doubtful bc i dont see how the numbers could add up by then.

IFand that's a big IF they do 15 Captains, that would make 25 vacancies plus the 2 at the end of July brings us to 27. So it is POSSIBLE. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Good luck twntynout and thanks for the info.
